OF Golf Society

The OF Golf Society is dedicated to maintaining a competitive spirit for golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced.

Social golf, for golfers of all standards, is very much a part of our year, with major Spring and Autumn events. For our stronger golfers, we compete in a number of inter-school alumni competitions, of which the most challenging is the annual Halford Hewitt competition which you can read all about via the link on the right.

OF Rifle Club

The OF Rifle Club encourages College pupil to improve their shooting skills keeping inter-schools competitions alive.

The OF Rifle Club is open to all Members – including Honorary Members, of course. The club has a long history of success in inter-schools full-bore competitions at Bisley, and does everything it can to encourage full-bore and small-bore shooting for College pupils.

OF Rugby Club

Having enjoyed our 100th anniversary of rugby at Framlingham in 2024, we are committed to providing an opportunity for OF's to continue representing the College.

A select number of alumni Seven’s tournaments such as the Bournemouth Sevens with also the potential to host an annual 15’s OF Rugby Fixture at the College, as part of our plans to reinvigorate an annual OF Day celebration.

OF Hockey Club

We are extremely proud of our hockey heritage at Framlingham College and the success we have achieved in recent years.

As part of our recently launched Hockey Legacy Campaign, the College will play host to an annual mixed Triangular Hockey Festival encompassing a staff team, a pupil team and an OF team. Ideally, if we were able to field two OF teams we could create an even bigger hockey reunion and ensure hockey players from multiple generations can play alongside one another.

OF Cricket Club

2026 will see Framlingham College enter an OF team into the prestigious Cricketer Trophy competition for the first time.

Alongside which we are currently in discussions with the organisers of the Cricketer Cup as they seek to create a women’s competition to sit alongside the men’s competition which was launched in 1967. Whilst the Quilibets CC (founded in 1925) will continue to host fixtures at the College, and play a crucial role in OF cricket, our aim is to build on their success and create an opportunity for OF’s to compete in national public school’s alumni competitions.
