Prissha Kirubakaran (M'24)

In Prissha's own words: Receiving the Transformational Bursary to attend Framlingham College marked a pivotal moment in my educational journey. The diverse range of A Levels and extra-curricular activities offered at the College broadened my worldview and enriched my personal growth. It was here that my passion for international relations and diplomacy was ignited - an area I now aspire to pursue as a career.

Through this opportunity, I cultivated essential leadership skills, which I know will serve me throughout my life and in achieving my ambitions. I also gained a deep appreciation for understanding different cultures and perspectives, an invaluable lesson for someone aiming to address global challenges.

My aspirations for the future include working international issues, representing my country, and fostering global collaboration. I am deeply grateful to Framlingham College and the incredible people I met during my time there for proving me the foundation, confidence, and opportunities to pursue my dreams.

Amy Barleyman (P '24)

In Amy's own words: Prior to joining Framlingham College, I attended Ormiston Endeavour Academy. It was whilst I was studying my GCSE's in year 11, that we received a presentation about Framlingham's bursary programme. I never imagined such an opportunity could be within my reach. I naturally did some further research and spoke to various people ahead of putting my application forward, and being accepted felt like a sign that someone believed in me, and while the transition wasn't easy, I can look back on the whole experience now as a defining moment in my life and an incredible chapter in my growth.

From the moment I joined Pembroke, my journey was filled with new experiences, challenges, amazing people, and unforgettable memories. Now, as I embark on my next adventure studying psychology at university, I dream of helping others by drawing on my experiences and knowledge to make a meaningful difference, particularly in child psychology.

Framlingham College taught me that my future is mine to shape, and for that gift of belief and empowerment, I will always be profoundly grateful.
